On Easter Sunday, April 21st, I took part in the famous Great Wall of China Half Marathon – a gruelling 21km run / hike along the famous Great Wall of China with 2,000 other experienced adventure racers.
I was NOT prepared and did none of the right training. There were endless steps, crazy steep and slippery pathways but some how I managed to succeed despite the heat, tiredness and aching legs and a knee injury.
Well done to my friend The Life of Jord for also completing the half marathon in record time!
One of the most difficult races in the world, one of the most challenging marathons and an adventure to last a lifetime!
