When you need a great snack and are craving fries, enjoy these very healthy versions – Baked sweet potatoes fries.
2 pounds of organic sweet potatoes, regular or purple variety
3 Tbs of organic avocado oil or coconut oil
1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt
1 1/2 teaspoons organic coconut sugar or date sugar
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
Dash of cayenne
Preheat over to 425 degrees.
Peel the sweet potatoes and cut into wedges, about the size and shape of steak fries.
Mix the rest of the ingredients together in a bowl. Use a whisk or fork to fully combine.
Pour the mixture over the cut fries and mix with your hands to get all the fries fully coated.
Place the fries on a baking sheet, not touching each other and bake for 15 minutes. Flip the fries over and bake for another 15 minutes.
Serve alone or with the condiment of your choice.
These sweet potato fries are filling, yet have none of the unhealthy ingredients of regular fries.
