2 American Troops, 1 British Soldier Killed In Attack On Iraq Military Base
Tonight this is the vehicle US officials say was used to launch the deadly attack. More than 30 rockets fired at a military base north of Baghdad Wednesday at least 18 rockets hit Camp Taji killing two American troops and one British soldier.
The Pentagon is saying an Iranian backed militia was behind the attack. President Trump was asked today if the US will retaliate. A similar event happened in December, and the u.s. struck five of the militant groups bases days later also killing Iran’s top general. We are just learning that the US military response has begun airstrikes targeting the militia groups weapons facilities inside Iraq.
