RECIPE!
Dough
1/4 cup of soft unsalted butter
1/4 cup of vegetable oil
1/2 cup of sugar
1/3 cup of brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
1/4 teaspoon of baking soda
3/4 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
3 cups of all purpose flour
1 cup of whole milk
1 cup of Fruity Pebbles Cereal
Glaze
¼ cup of powdered sugar
1 tablespoon of light corn syrup
1 tablespoon of melted unsalted butter
½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
2 tablespoons of milk
1 cup of Fruity Pebbles Cereal
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Step 1
Combine the sugars, softened butter, and vegetable oil in a bowl. ONce it has all combined, add the eggs and continue to mix.
Step 2
Stir in the baking powder and soda, and the salt and vanilla. Continue to mix.
Step 3
Add a bit of the flour and combine, followed by some of the milk. Continue this until both milk and flour are mixed into the batter. Add the Fruity Pebbles to the batter and mix well.
Step 4
Spoon the batter into a donut baking tray and bake for about 10 minutes.
Glaze
Step 5
Combine the powdered sugar, milk, melted butter and vanilla ina bowl. After the donuts are cooled, smother the top in the glaze followed by the Fruity Pebbles. Let sit to cool and harden.
