Jason’s first fray into the smooth chill and odd sounds of Vaporwave! Titled HQ:LP (High Quality Long Play) a play on name to the sound of the music which is completely opposite. The source material is of low quality although the production is high, and the songs are not LP’s but released as an EP. The backwards concept and execution of HQ:LP is what makes this unique!

HQ:LP is designed to take the genre to a new level, instead of just slowing down samples, HQ:LP goes deeper, fully producing and arranging material to compose an original song. Drums, keys, percussion, re arranging and more is added to give the songs a personal touch. When composing songs, a strict completion time of 1-3 hours (complete song, audio/music video) is stood by. The outcome is a quick, fly by the seat of your pants experience where whatever happens, happens. It’s music produced in the moment, and sent out without months of mixing and re arranging!
