Chewbacca Is Not Buying Whatever The Porg Is Selling In This New "The Last Jedi" TV Spot

“So good to have you back.” As Dec. 15, 2017 quickly approaches, the hype for The Last Jedi grows stronger. Me, shakin' off the bad vibes. Disney And Disney has been ~consistently sneaky~ in reference to how and when they give us new footage. Disney But today during NBC’s coverage of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, we were unexpectedly treated to ANOTHER little sneak peek. Disney / Via youtube.com And let me just say: YOU. GUYS. TURN ME ON, LUKE. Disney The TV spot, which is a mere 10 seconds long, still manages to instill intense excitement, while teasing a few new visuals. Disney The biggest of which being that we get more Captain Phasma, who has been sorely missed. I simply must know how you got out of the trash compactor. Disney And more of my absolute favorite new buddy pairing: Chewie and this Porg (who is a star, fight me). Or don't fight me, and we can all just enjoy him and treasure him for the baby he is, because we should be fighting his enemies, not each other. Disney Overall, I just can’t handle the wait anymore, so you’ll catch me running into the first available midnight showing like: Disney Source link [page_popup id=”1″]

RZA Files Trademark Opposition Suit Against ‘Woof-Tang Clan’

Wu-Tang Clan honcho RZA has filed a trademark opposition suit against a Brooklyn dog walking company trying to register the trademark, “Woof-Tang Clan.” In a lawsuit filed November 15th, RZA (real name Robert Diggs) touted the long history of the Wu-Tang Clan mark and how its appearance on various goods and services “has come to represent enormous goodwill.” The suit also claimed the Wu-Tang mark is “unmistakably associated with [RZA] such that it constitutes part of his identity.” Woof-Tang Clan’s owner, Marty Cuatchon, filed a trademark application for his company on June 8th. As the New York Daily News noted, the company also briefly sold T-shirts on its website that made explicit reference to late Wu-Tang rapper Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s debut album, Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version. The shirt tweaked the album’s famous cover – a snapshot of ODB’s ID card for food stamps – to feature a dog named Bali in the rapper’s place. Another shirt parodied the cover of De La Soul’s 3 Feet High and Rising. Both have been removed from the company’s website. Representatives for RZA and Woof-Tang Clan did not immediately return Rolling Stone‘s request for comment. In his opposition suit, RZA claimed the Woof-Tang Clan mark was “highly similar” to the Wu-Tang Clan mark in “sight, sound and commercial impression.” He added that the company “falsely suggests a connection” with those associated with the Wu-Tang Clan and argued the name is “likely to cause confusion, cause mistake, or to deceive consumers to falsely believe” the pet-care company is associated with the hip-hop troupe. Speaking with the Daily News Saturday, Cuatchon said he was unaware of RZA’s trademark challenge and declined to comment until speaking with a lawyer. However, he did say, “I am a fan. We walk dogs. I thought it was a good idea.” Source link [page_popup id=”1″]

Greta Gerwig Knows The Real Reason Why The "HIMYM" Spinoff Flopped

Ouch. Remember the iconic-yet-sometimes-annoying masterpiece that was How I Met Your Mother? It ran for nine seasons from 2005-2014 on CBS. Ben Gabbe / Getty Images And due to the success of the show, CBS thought it would be a great idea to continue the show’s legacy with a spinoff series called How I Met Your Dad, starring Greta Gerwig. CBS / Via wordpress.com If this is coming as a shock to you, it’s probably because the series didn’t make it past the pilot episode in 2014. And during a recent interview with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show, Greta revealed why the show didn’t work. CBS “There was a show called How I Met Your Mother. It was a great show. I loved it. Everyone loves it,” said Greta, who wrote and directed the new coming of age film Lady Bird. Dimitrios Kambouris / Getty Images “They were going to make another one called, How I Met Your Dad, starring me.” Kevin Winter / Getty Images “We shot the pilot and it was so much fun! I loved working on it. And then they take the pilot to Las Vegas to test it (with a focus group).” Alberto E. Rodriguez / Getty Images “The audience, they’re given knobs. They turn the knob to the right if they like it and to the left if they don’t.” Rich Fury / Getty Images “And apparently, they turned the knob to the left every time I came on. Jamie Mccarthy / Getty Images And even though that was pretty sad to hear, the 34-year-old California native has since learned to laugh about it. Same Stephen…same. How Roy Moore Could Be Kept Out of the Senate

The Roy Moore saga gets worse every day. The allegations piling up against the Alabama Republican now include Moore, then the local DA, being banned from an area mall and calling a high school principal to pull a girl out of trigonometry class so he could ask her out on a date. The accusations read like the stuff of after-school specials – expect in those, the sexual predators on screen generally end up in jail. In this timeline, we have a man who is facing numerous carefully reported allegations of child molestation who might end up in the United States Senate. As allegations continue to come out, many politicians and voters are desperately trying to figure out what to do about the special election in Alabama. Below are the possible outcomes and scenarios being floated – some of them much more viable than others. Doug Jones wins the electionThis is the simplest way for Moore to be kept out of the Senate. His Democratic contender, Jones, is an incredible candidate whose biography features prosecuting KKK members for firebombing a Birmingham church in 1963, an attack that killed four African-American girls. He has eloquently connected that past violence to the racism and bigotry of today. Jones should have a good chance on his own of becoming a senator, if he weren’t running in one of the reddest states in the country. But the latest polls show that the claims against Moore are having an effect: The National Republican Senatorial Committee has Jones up by 12 points. If that sort of lead holds until Election Day, Jones will be senator, and Moore will hopefully disappear into the Alabama night, never to be heard from again. Moore is removed from the ballotWhen The Washington Post published the first accusations against Moore, there was quick talk of removing his name from the ballot before the December 12th election. However, that talk has died down because Alabama law prevents names being removed from the ballot within 76 days of an election. So even if Moore withdraws from the race, his name is going to be on the ballot. The election is movedOr at least Moore’s name will be on the ballot if there’s an election on December 12th. The governor of Alabama could in theory cancel the special election. But that would be an extraordinary move, and would look like election-rigging. Plus, Gov. Kay Ivey has said she is not going to do this. Another possibility is that Luther Strange, the temporary Alabama senator whom this election will replace, could resign, forcing the governor to appoint a new senator in his place and starting the entire special-election process over again. This was floated Wednesday by various people, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. Anything could happen, but even more so than the date-change option, this seems like the stuff of political fiction. Both of these options would require a new primary, which would presumably take Moore’s name off the ballot, but don’t count on either. Moore is almost certainly going to be the Republican candidate in…

"The Greatest Showman" Brings Together Hugh Jackman And Zac Efron In What's Sure To Be A Spectacle Of Hunkiness

But more importantly, Zendaya is in it and has pink hair. So, Hugh Jackman’s started off this year strong AF, appearing as Wolverine for the last time in Logan back in March. And if this movie doesn't receive some kind of recognition during award season, you'll be hearing from my attorney (who is just me in a mustache). 20th Century Fox But it appears that Jackman plans to end this year just as strong with a very different performance in The Greatest Showman, which we just received a new trailer for! 20th Century Fox / Via youtube.com The film follows the true life tale of P.T. Barnum, and how his ahead-of-its-time imagination worked to create “The Greatest Show On Earth.” 20th Century Fox Besides Jackman, the film also stars the insanely talented Michelle Williams, Zac Efron, Zendaya, and Rebecca Ferguson. 20th Century Fox Also, we get Zendaya with pink hair appearing as the most beautiful human being alive, as always, so give this movie all the casting awards right now. 20th Century Fox Anwyay, The Greatest Showman is also a completely original musical, which the trailer fully embraces. Like, the trailer is not trying to hide all the singin' and dancin' in store for us. 20th Century Fox And, as if all of that wasn’t perfect enough, the lyrics were written by the same team from La La Land, so you know it’s bound to ~sparkle~. 20th Century Fox So catch this magical musical eye-orgasm of spectacle in theaters Dec. 20, 2017! 20th Century Fox Source link [page_popup id=”1″]

See Jennifer Lopez Throw Subway Dance Party in New Video

Jennifer Lopez turns a grimy subway platform into a steamy dance club in the new video for “Amor, Amor, Amor,” the singer’s latest Spanish language single. In the video, Lopez and featured guest Wisin have their respective troupes showdown in a dance-off at the vacant subway station before the train arrives, at which point the party goes mobile underground. The video ends with both singers’ exiting the subway and hopping in Wisin’s sleek Abarth. The latest single follows Lopez’s steamy video for “Ni Tu Ni Yo.” Both “Ni Tu Ni Yo” and “Amor, Amor, Amor” will reportedly feature on Lopez’s upcoming Spanish album Por Primera Vez, which translates to For the First Time. “It’s about how we are always kind of reinventing ourselves, experiencing things for the first time, no matter how old you are. There’s always a new beginning,” Lopez told E! of the new album, her first Spanish language LP since 2007’s Como Ama Una Mujer. Source link [page_popup id=”1″]
