StabilityWOD 33: Getting Running Athletes Stable On One Leg

Runners, and athletes in other running intensive sports, spend most of their training time on only one leg at a time.. The stresses on the body when we’re on one leg requires specificity in our training. As volume increases, minor biomechanical faults become problematic. In the clinic I frequently work with running athletes to help them become aware of what their spine/pelvis, hip, knee, and ankle/foot are actually doing during impact and landing. These functional exercises are the culmination of this weeks theme on StabilityWOD!
