1. Lower ab thrust

You’re basically just using your hips and lower abs to thrust or point your feet high up into the air. As long as you can make your hips/lower back come up off the floor then you are doing this correctly. Progress to ankle weights once 8-to-20 reps becomes easy. You can also do on an incline bench for a challenge.

2. Reverse Crunch

What is not shown in the video is how you can progress to an incline, use ankle weights and/or cables to help your lower abs (or all your abs) look better and better as reverse crunches become easier for you.

You can also crunch or finish the movement in a slow controlled manner for a more intense lower ab exercise.

3. Reverse Crunch and hold
